Since Go Seek Explore expands on other platforms aside from this website, I thought I'd put together a monthly roundup of the happenings and content I'm sharing both on and off the blog!

10 Non-Travel Rituals That Helped Me Travel More

Over the past year, I started to allow more time for self-care and self-development practices during my weeks, and introduced some new rituals to my regular routine.

You can’t grow if you don’t understand your own programming. ::: Here are my favorite books/quizzes on personality and self-awareness 🤓 plus my results if you’re curious! ::: -The Four Tendencies by @gretchenrubin (I am an Obliger, but have some Upholder in me as well) ::: -Meyers-Briggs - favorite version is from 16 personalities (I am an ENFJ) ::: -Visionary or integrator assessments on rocketfuelnow.com (I am a Visionary) ::: -The Five Love Languages (my #1 is quality time) ::: -Animal personality quiz - you’ll need to google search “understanding personalities quiz animal koala lion” for a PDF (I am a peacock with some owl in there) ::: Wow! I didn’t realize how many of these I’ve taken until now 😂 though I can’t recommend these enough. You can’t grow if you don’t understand your own programming >>> aka why you do what you do. ::: When you have a stronger self-awareness, you can focus on YOUR strengths and passions that will lead to you doing what YOU want to do. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Anyone celebrating in Ireland?! You know the phrase “you are what you eat?” . The same thing applies to the five people you spend most of your time with. . It applies to the content you consume on social media. . It applies to the news you pay attention to. . If “you are what you eat,” then maybe it’s important to take a look at who and what you surround yourself, how you spend your time, and how you view the world. . It can be easy to get sucked into fake news, gossip, comparison on social media & keeping up with the “Joneses”..... . So I ask: if what and who you surround yourself with greatly influences your life...how can you add more positivity, lightness, and good energy to your everyday life? 🙂✌️ . 📸 by @thejessicajourney
