Munich, going to the mountain and up a cable car for a beautiful view in Bavaria - right on the Austrian border, Neuschwanstein Castle, back to the city and a late night visit to Hofbrauhaus.

After Vienna we went to two of my favorite cities in the world, Prague (Czech Republic) and Berlin (Germany) with a stop in Dresden on the way.

Once the conference I was working at officially started, the days flew by! Outside the curriculum, we went to the Museums Quarter, a music and opera concert, and strolled around the gardens at the Schonbrunn Palace.
