A few summers ago I was scrolling on Facebook and saw a post about a job opportunity to work + travel through the entire continent of South America. It was for an Academic Coordinator role at a soon-to-launch study abroad company.

I immediately knew I was meant to see that post. I knew that job was meant for me.

Wednesday, May 13 marked six years of Go Seek Explore! It blows my mind that it's been this long. I hit "publish" on my first blog post all those years ago when I was home in Seattle after working + traveling through Europe & the east coast of the USA.

Feeling inspired after reading “The Happiness of Pursuit” by Chris Guillibeau, written by a guy who has traveled to every country in the world, I created my own travel goal: to step foot on all six inhabited continents in my 20s.

Here’s what I learned over the years and having achieved this goal, as well as 4 tips for creating powerful goals that scare you.

This day five years ago, I hit “publish” on my first blog post at goseekexplore.com. All I can think is, Wow, I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for half a decade. That makes me feel old. Haha. And, Thank you so much for being here. Here’s a recap + some lessons learned over the past half a decade.
