There Are Mountains In China That Look Like Sand Art

I used to love making sand art growing up in the '90s. Adding the different colored sand to the clear bottles and making striped or swirly patterns was the ultimate '90s kid craft. What's really cool is that there happen to be real mountains in China that look like sand art - actual, natural land forms displaying colored stripes and swirls. Often called "The Rainbow Mountains," this is for sure something to see if you find yourself in China with time for a side trip to Gansu.
