Weird Snack Food Flavors Around The World

Japan Pringles shrimp lemon blueberry Seeing Cheeseburger or Pesto flavored Lays chips in Paris as an American was an interesting surprise at the grocery store. The thought that ran through my mind was, "Wait, Cheeseburger flavored chips? And everyone thinks Americans like burgers and McDonald's so much..." When I was in Italy last year I was curious when I saw Paprika or Roasted Chicken flavored Pringles. I was intrigued by them - Paprika wasn't too bad, but Roasted Chicken was a little...weird. To someone who's used to seeing Barbecue Lays or Sour Cream & Onion Pringles, chicken-flavored chips seem very out of place. Around the world it's quite normal to find snack flavors that seem "odd," but are just typical flavors to the locals. A few weird snack flavors around the world that I've tried, seen, or heard about:

France: Cheeseburger Lays

France: these Ketchup flavored snacks that may or may not be crackers

Italy: Paprika and Roasted Chicken & Herbs Pringles (also saw these in France)

Croatia: Fish flavored Kviki deep fried chips (the question is, what kind of fish?)

Croatian snacks kviki Japan: Blueberry & Hazelnut, Grilled Shrimp, Soft Shell Crab, Lemon & Sesame, Seaweed

UK: Prawn Cocktail Pringles

Canada: Finalists for the Lays "Do Us A Flavor" Contest: Caesar Salad, Maple Syrup, Grilled Cheese, Perogy Platter

USA: Mint Chocolate Chip and Sweet Cinnamon Pringles (Limited edition - probably a good thing)

Sweet cinnamon and mint choc flavour Pringles are not the first peculiar flavours to have been launched by the brand - American audiences have also experienced white chocolate, soft-shell crab, blueberry and hazelnut, and seaweed

Okay, I guess the US holiday flavored Pringles are pretty weird too.
