16 Incredible High Viewpoints Around The World

16 Incredible High Viewpoints Around The World

I'm a sucker for high viewpoints.

In every city I travel to, one of my "must-dos" is to find a high viewpoint. Why? I love taking in the surroundings from the angle, seeing where I've walked around below.

Plus, much of the time it includes an adventurous aspect like a hike or stumbling across it unexpectedly. #adventure

With my camera in tow, I've made it to the top of some incredible high viewpoints around the world.

And, as always when it comes to traveling, there is often a story behind the photo.

In this post I'm sharing with you 16 of my absolute favorite viewpoints I've been to around the world!

The Best (And Worst!) Moments on my Southeast Asia Trip

The Best (And Worst!) Moments on my Southeast Asia Trip

What's it like to travel to seven countries in 4.5 weeks across multiple continents?!

It's tough to sum up such an experience into one sentence.

You see, with travel - especially fast travel like this trip - I was constantly on the move: planning the trip as I went, keeping up with client work when I found internet connections, and trying to maximize my time in each amazing city I visited.

Exhausting and exhilarating could describe what it was like traveling to those places in a month's time.

With that said, this post is going to round up the best (and worst!) moments on my trip to Southeast Asia, New Zealand, and Australia!

"What?! You're sharing the worst moments too? Isn't traveling and the digital nomad lifestyle all cocktails and laptops on the beach?!"

With blogging, videos, and social media, we all choose to show the highlights of our lives.

In this post I'm sharing both sides of the story, as there are always positive and negative things that happen while traveling - just as there are positive and negative things that happen when you're home.

Here are the memories that stand out the most on this trip!

Old Town San Diego Travel Guide

Old Town San Diego Travel Guide

Since Old Town is the "historic heart" of San Diego, its Mexican roots and architecture makes it a unique and cool part of town. It's definitely worth a visit if you're traveling to San Diego, especially if you're in town for Cinco de Mayo coming up!

Last week, my friend Jessica of The Jessica Journey and I scouted out the best of Old Town San Diego in preparation for Cinco de Mayo! We were lucky our friend Marissa of Modern Day Mona Photography was there to capture it all, as well!

There are plenty of fun things to do in Old Town, whether you're going with friends, on a date, or even with family. Here's what we got up to:

Visiting Macau as a Day Trip From Hong Kong

Visiting Macau as a Day Trip From Hong Kong

Macau is a unique treasure in Asia that you may have never heard of, but should definitely visit at least once in your life.

It's like a European piece of Asia, mixed with Portugal, a little bit of Las Vegas, and...egg tarts.

Oh, the egg tarts. So delicious. :)

I'm also pretty sure this is the only place in the world where you'll find signs written in both Chinese and Portuguese. It's pretty trippy at first glance, haha.

With ferries leaving about every half hour from Hong Kong, and the ferry ride only one hour each way, it's a quick & easy day trip.

Read on for my day trip guide to Macau & tips on the logistics of getting there from Hong Kong (hint: it's pretty simple!)
